This is the first step in my aesthetic restoration of my Jeep Wrangler YJ.
One of the previous owners was apparently a bumbling retard. They spray can rhino-lined not only the tub, but the tailgate, inside door panels, foot guards and even the fender flares and bumpers.
I set to removing the rhino lining from the doors with a chisel and a lot of patience. The stuff was pretty crappy and came up relatively easily, though it still took a lot of time and effort.
This photo was taken in the middle of removal on the passenger's side door.
Next step: Painting the bare vinyl door panels and making them look not cheesy or hickish in the process (next deviation)
they were just superficial, they weren't deep and you couldn't feel them if you ran your hand over them. So I used the textured paint and it concealed pretty much all of them.
