A screen shot I took during the first couple of hours of the Before the Storm patch that pre-empted the Burning Crusade expansion to World of Warcraft.

The PvP action here was so intense. Not only was the portal spewing demons, there were several hundred players all in the crater, from Horde and Alliance. Massively fun time.

Ahh! Was it as laggy there as it was on my server? I play on Destromath(PvP)... We had to take turns, basically, with the alliance and the portal because everyone kept zerging and pushing and falling back. Oy.

Love the Screenie though!

it was fairly laggy. I'd say there were several hundred players there total. I'm on Nathrezim, which is PvP, and I roll Alliance. We owned the portal for the first... five hours? It was a horde blood bath because we outnumbered them 2:1. There'd be a horde push every few minutes, but it never made it past the quest giver.... Good times though, I wear my AD tabard with pride ;)
